Default Egg constipation... cod liver oil?

Our Barnevelder is having issues... again! She hasn't laid for two weeks now. At first she would actually try & sit in the nesting box, but now she can't even be bothered.

We've only had her for about 3 months, during which she's been maturing steadily. We got excited when she was practically keeping up with our LSussex's egg prduction!

In an episode of River Cottage, some chicken guy told Hugh to feed them cod liver oil... good idea? If so does anyone know how it should be administered?

We give them layers pellets (w/Verm-X 3 days per month), occasionally corn/scaps as treats. They get let out into the garden everyday, where they nibble at worms and grass, etc. At the moment we're also mixing some poultry spice in with the food in case she is sick (but her eyes & feathers are bright & glossy.)

Any other ideas?
