  • chooks and borage

I have loads of self seeded borage growing in the garden, it is taking over a bit at the moment so I thought I would mow it when I do the grass later.

The question is, can I feed the cuttings to the hens along with the grass?

Mine ate a pot full last year and loved it

Mine like a bit. They have it when I weed it out - it's a bit of a thug isn't it? To be honest, we can eat it so I assume it won't hurt them. They tend to refuse things they dont like anyway.
