    Chicks Galore!

    Here are the pics of the babies. I was going to use the photos that DD took on her mega-camera but they are well out of dates, even though they are only a few days old, so you'll have to put up with my crummy pics - sorry!

      Awwwwwwwwwwww, they are so cute. Never mind chook I'M getting broody!!
      Need to get cracking on the run so's I can have me some babies to hatch.

              They get a couple of hours outside in nice weather, and really enjoy it. They're actually penned into one of our raised beds with double netting/chicken wire so they are safe but one of us is always watching anyway - you can watch them for hours. Coffee breaks are spent sitting on the stepstool chick-watching

              I'll get the DD to take some close up pics later.

                  Lovely chikkies, none of my hens have gone broody. I keep saying that if they do its a cold night out, but.................................
