    4 broody chooks!

    Hmm...well I tried to stop the 4th female becoming broody but she's determined...and now has pulled out every single feather from her chest...looks like she's oven ready underneath

    So...looks like no eggs for a while- at last there are no extra eggs to hatch...goodness knows what we'd do with 12 babies! ( weeelll!!!)

    Poor boys won't know what to do with themselves....I suppose the upside is that they'll not wander far and that has to be good in case the foxes start to come out during the day????

                Actually I'm fine at the moment thanks- but I do like to keep a good stock of teabags, sugar and loo rolls in case of emergency!

                    When I used to breed dogs if one bitch came in season then the others usually followed so maybe it is catching!!
