i have 4 small tomato plants and the leaves on the bottom are going yellow,ive got some epsom salts but dont no how much to put in a small spray bottle of water to spray directly on the leave for magneaium deficiency. how much should i put in a pint of water?

Sorry, no idea - I have only seen yellow leaves on older tomato plants, which seems to be normal (I nip them off to discourage the slugs). Maybe a tomato expert will be along shortly...? -
I don't know if this helps, but I was advised(by my local allotment guru) that I should dissolve a dessert spoon full in a normal size watering can to water my garlic as the leaves had gone yellow.
I must say that after watering this solution on, garlic appears to have picked up(although could be a coincidence, touch of rain overnight)Comment

By bottom leaves, do you mean the first leaves as they germinated? If so, they go yellow and fall off anyway. If its the true leaves, could be the compost isn't as good as it should be. Some peat-free 'organic' composts are about as much use an trying to grow in wet sawdust.
