| Hello Bay View Plot, I don't think I would put either of these on a regular compost heap. Christmas trees are very woody and would take a long time to rot down. The mistletoe I'm not sure about but I can just see it rooting in there. However, if like me you have ground to spare in an out of sight area you could dump them there and leave them to get on with it. Everything breaks down eventually. |

| You can take old Christmas trees to council run sites for recycling in a lot of areas, think they shred them down and mix them with all the other stuff they have.
