  • Worms when growing in containers

I think this may be a stupid question to ask, but. I am growing my veg in containers and i have been reading this monthe GYO magazine and the article all about beneficial wildlife. Is it a good idea to encourage wildlife to your containers as you would do on an allotment. What about adding a few worms to containers?

If you empty it out, you will most likely find worms in there anyway tbh. Even if your pots are on feet they will still be in there!

I've found worms in my seedtrays, modules and pots. They don't do any harm and you are more likely to find them if you use soil based compost!
