    right iv purchased a few of the roses from poundland hoping they will grow i need some advice the shoots coming off them are very tender and whitish is there any special treatment they will need i have placed them in a coldframe for the times bein any advice will be helpful.. also my tulips bulbs have shooted up now but weve had some snow now was wondering if they will ok and cope with the snow or will it affect the flowering? thank you

    Tulips will be fine if they are in the ground. Roses, these will need protection until the shoots harden off. They have produced white shoots because they have been kept too warm and in the dark.
