Default Winter in the greenhouse

Can you give me ideas of what I can grow in an unheated greenhouse through the winter. At the moment it full to bursting with cucumbers, tomatos, peppers, chillies, spinach, corgett es,peas and french beans. When all this is gone I would like to make use of the space. I have read on here about potatos for xmas , which is one idea I will try. Any more please.

Not really much.
It's not down to heat, it's down to short day-length.
Use your greenhouse to over-winter plants like fuchsias, pelargoniums, chillies. Then get sowing again in January (onions, sweet peas)

From experience this year, try growing early tomatoes indoors, and moving to the greenhouse as soon as it starts getting lighter.

We had tomatoes from 8th June this year - off one plant - which was sown on 8th Jan.

I'm trying a few winter greens including spring cabbage, tuscan kale etc.

Theoretically whatever will grow outside during the winter can be grown inside to give an earlier crop!

I usually put in a row or two of lettuce - Winter Density, All the year Round - now I have some seeds of Stoke which I got as a freebie from the Heritage Seed Library - that did well in the greenhouse in winter. You can do lamb's lettuce and Amercian land cress too. At least, I have.

To have so many fruit and veg in your Greenhouse as you have at present, it must be the one I saw on the BBC News the other day, where they will be able to grow Lettuce etc., in Britain even during the winter months, rather than have to import them??

I usually grow a couple of seed trays of 'grass' in the winter greenhouse (for the guinea pigs). I germinate the seeds from their dry food ~ oats, rye etc
