  • Where did all the spinach come from?!

    Newbie alert!

I planted perpetual spinach in modules and it has germinated nicely. Thing is there are at least 3 seedlings to a module and I know I only planted one per module!

Did I read somewhere that small seeds can come in a casing with a couple of seeds in? The seeds I planted looked a bit like small sugar puffs (technical term that )

    Any ideas guys?

It (leaf beet) is related to beetroot, and the seeds are indeed clusters of a few seeds.
Weed out the weakest, and plant them 6"-12" apart, depending on how big you like your leafbeet/chard

Mine grow in clumps about18" apart- not had any probs with that!
Why not do an experiment and see which works best for you...then let us know!????
