  • What size pot for Scotch Bonnets?

    Hiya,

I have 4 Scotch Bonnet plants raised from seed and now in small 3" diameter pots, but the soil looks like it's been slowly drained of nutrients.
I was wondering what size pots these will need next. What's the final size?

Also, how big do these get? And am I likely to get fruits when they are on the window sill only?

    Thanks!
    Franziska

Do they benefit from a feed of tomorite or similar?

I'd go up to the next size (around 5") for now, and the extra compost will keep them going for a little while. Then a final pot size of around 5 litres. They should be happy enough on the windowsill if it gets plenty of light, but don't forget to turn them or you'll get one-sided plants
Feed them with tomato feed once they've set fruit, according to the instructions on the bottle
