  • What are safe frost dates?

What dates do pople use for the start and end of frost periods when planning crops?

I was told 2nd week of May on = OK. 2nd week in Oct - may = Frost risk.

Depends on where you live, how exposed your site is and will vary on a year to year basis. Might be worth you putting up where you are in your profile so that people can judge based on your location.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Can get windy, and frost on cars when it hits. We get bad fog too as close to a nature reserve.

      I'm in Northamptonshire.

Gadgetman, you can put Northants in your profile, so peeps can see it when you post.
