| Depends what it is. If they are ok to sow outside (the lettuces probably are) then they can go into the cold greenhouse. My tom seedlings (only got seed leaves) are in the greenhouse today because the sun is warming it up, but they'll come inside tonight. Read the packets to see if your stuff is hardy in March or can be sown outside in/before March. That'll tell you.

| Lettuce will come to no harm as long as they don't get frosted - best to grow them cool and hard. An unheated greenhouse should be fine. If a hard frost is forecast, then you can cover them. 5 degrees wont harm them at all. Tomatoes could go out during the day, but bring them into the main house at night for now. All seedlings need maximum light as soon as they germinate, so don't keep them indoors too long. |
