  • urgent, please help

    Looks like my veg have powdery mildew and ive already lost all my cabbages so want to protect the rest of my veg, i have searched the net and found what pesticedes that i can use, but cant find any. They advise using either saf t-side oil, sunspray ultra fine spray oil or neem oil spray, so can you advise where i can get either of these delivered by tomorrow.

      ^^^ that is what the guy on Radio 2 uses IIRC he favours fully skimmed (no fat smells) & repeats at 10 day intervals (or after rain),if you can find a copy of his lecture at the Malvern show it would be well worth a listen

          It's extremely unusual to get powder mildew on brassicas - where are they growing, and do you have any photos?

            They are in the garden, sorry no pics as im new and dont know how to put them on here. We have searched the net and it definatly looks like its powder mildew.

              Have you had a REALLY close look?

              I'm sort of wondering if it could be lots of clusters of baby greenfly ? They sort of look like they are hiding under a grey film which could be confused with mildew?

              Just a thought!

                    Apparently Brassicas can get Downy Mildew, not sure if it's the same. Doesn't look good if it is.

                      If you can upload photos to your computer you can insert them into your posts. When making a post click on "go advanced" instead of "post quick reply" and follow the instructions to insert a file.

                        If you are not averse to using a chemical control Marshalls do one called Plant Rescue Fungus control, supposed to be pretty good on PM according to a mate of mine.
