| you have nothing to lose by sowing more, last year both my son and I grew a later crop, and he got some whopping dark green marrows, where as my green stipe had 3 nice size ones, just try,if you were able to give it a little protection later on,as you would at the start of the season i am sure would benefit them, |

| Go for it. They like warm weather and will quickly establish and grow. Just give these a bit of extra care to help them along.

| Worth a go, plus of course even if they fail to fruit, the foliage will help suppress weeds, so worth a shot!

| courgettes and summer squash grow very rapidly, so no problem there. If you are planning on growing winter squash for storage they can take longer, 80-100 days depending on the variety. Just count backwards from the first frost date. Good Luck.

| As lzyjo says, it's definitely worth sowing if you're after summer squashes but it's a bit late for winter ones although you might still find some plants in the garden centres which you could plant out if you're desperate.
