    Yes they look ideal for planting now as chit is the right size

      Potatoes don't need chitting to grow but it does give us something to do/ look at when not much else is happening. I'd get them in the ground.

            Loading it into trailer will be the easy part, unloading will be a different story as I don't have a drive and I face onto a main road, il need to recruit the next door neighbour for some help

              Plant them when the ground is ready (soil warm, timed right for harvest and/or avoiding late frosts) and ignore how much they have chitted. They will grow faster in the ground, whether already chitted or not, chitting just gives them a head start and prevents them getting long, brittle, white shoots on them which are liable to break off during planting - which would be the case if you stored them in the dark rather than chitting.
