Default sprouts

Hi , in march i sowed 2 different kinds of sprout . I now have 30 ( 15 of each ) plants , which are about 6-8 inches high and am very pleased , but on talking to people on my allotment they say it is too early to put them in the ground .Should i listen or just go for it , thanks in advance for answering .

It all depends on your microclimate, if you are in an area that may still suffer from some frost then it is still too early to transplant them on, but if you live in a mild climate you should be ok. You'll just get them a bit earlier than usual.

They are normally transplanted with my dad around mid may 1000ft up, but I am about two weeks ahead of him at sea level.

Pigeons, no never fancied them., We have a spot very close to gods heart here, its where he(she) goes for a bit of piece and quiet, and to do the crossword. He(she) obviously spends a lot of time there as it rains an awful lot round here.
