So my plot has MASSESS of snails. The bed edges were old roof tiles which seem to be a haven for them - so I'm working my way round removing them.
They also seem to love the masses of carpet that the previous encumbant seemed to think was a suitable solution to weed control. Again thats being removed bit by bit too.
But I expect there are tons of the little critters hiding out ready for when I ever get anything to grow. I've read lots about slugs and things like nematodes but never anything about snails.
I'm not opposed to poison but I have a little person who may well eat the blue 100's and 1000's!!
