  • Slug or snail eggs. Silly question.

    Hi everyone
I've just raked all my old composted leaves out to use and they are full of tiny white slug or snail eggs, what I wondered is, is this normal and apart from spreading them about a bit to open them up to the birds for a couple of days, what would you do before digging them into the ground?
Is it possible to get rid of them all? Will they just grow on if I miss any or will the cold weather kill them off?

Squish as many as you can.

Do the hot weather dance over them.

The birds have too much to eat at present so the eggs are likely to survive.

As they say "every little helps".

    Best wishes

    Bill
