| At the risk of showing my ignorance I am concerned that there appears to be a lot of advice around suggesting seaweed is good for mulching and providing organic matter. I have an almost endless supply but was under the impression that salt water would be bad for the garden. Is there any answer. I would love to use the natural and freely available seaweed but am a bit worried. For example does it need to be dried (or even rinsed in fresh water), are any particular types better than others, how much can safely be applied. Any advice most welcome |

| this website should answer your questions; www.gardenorganic.org.uk/factsheets/gg15.php there is others listed on my web site about seaweed but this one is the best all rounder.
