    ridge cucumbers

    Hello all sorry got a bit of a panic on, my ridge cucumbers are flowering and some of the flowers are going white and dying off
    Is this a good or a bad thing im paranoid there not getting pollinated, there not very big only about an inch

    Don't panic!! Some flowers are bound to die off - you'll have male and female ones and you want the female ones to hang about - the males just do the biz and can pop off then.

          If you've got mini cucs, it shouldn't matter as it's done it's job.

            There about 4 foot and plenty of male flowers, the cukes are only about an inch long, I popped out earlier to have a look and 90 percent of the female flowers have gine white and shriveled

              Sounds like you have a non-pollination thing going on there, Spunky - I presume they are growing outside? What variety are they?

              Not sure if you have to get a male flower and make like mother nature and do some dib dib dibbing into the female ones?
