  • Repotting chili deeper

Hello all, some of my chillies are ready to be potted on can I lose the first leaves and bury them upto their first true set?

I do. I don't know if it helps extra root growth like tomatoes, but feels more satisfying.
Sent from my pc cos I don't have an i-phone.

Chillies have a woody stem, unlike tomatoes. I'm no expert and tbh i don't know if they do send out new roots from the stem, but i wouldn't have thought they would have. I may do my own little experiment this year to see.
