Hi everyone this is my first year with trying to grow my own veg.So if i say something stupid please forgive me!
I have a row of red cabbage in between a row sprouts and a row of broccoli. It's been growing great guns but over last three days started to go limp.Is this normal or is there anything i can do to get it back on track?

If you've ruled out drought, then it's probably cabbage root fly

      .............. or God forbid, clubroot!

Best way to find out is to dig one up and have a look at the roots!

It's highly likely that more than been affected. Would you want to sow more, or buy in plants?

Placing collars around the stems when you plant them out prevents the maggots burrowing down to the roots to eat them: instead the eggs die on the collars.
