  • Raised bed undermined

    Hi,

Unfortunately my neighbours had a drain problem the other day which resulted in the builders digging up their path, under the fence between our gardens, and unfortunately under my newly built raised bed... half of which duly collapsed into the hole.

So my bulbs got a rude awakening after 6 weeks or so in the ground.

This is one of them - can't remember what though perhaps a narcissus or tulip bulb.

Does it look healthy? It seems to have a couple of fungal-looking blue bits. Is it anything to be concerened about?

Looks fine to me, plenty of roots there.

Thanks Mark. The bulbs are back in the ground now.
I'll be interested to see how they fare compared to the undisturbed ones.

It wasn't their fault Tricky. New build houses... just one more thing on a long list of faults!
