Default propagators

not sure if this is the right place to post this, sorry if i'm wrong.

did anyone get the set of 3 un-heated propagators from Aldi the other week?

i did, they were advertised at £2-99 but when i got to the til, they scanned at 99p i went back and got 2 more sets...

the thing that got me was all the huge posters all over the store saying they were £2-99 for the set and neither assistant that served me batted an eyelid about the price...

anyway, i think i got a bargain saving £6

I bought them about 3 year ago and I've used them ever since, one of the modules developed a few cracks so I cut that one up into individual pots.
You got a bargain there LindaB

I am sure I paid £2.99 for mine. Worth it though as they will last a few years.
I have got them full of seedlings already !

Well done on your bargain,

James

Lidl Denmark had the same offer this week, a set of 4 for 50 krones. They also have very cheap self watering pots...

I got the set of 3 for £2.99, which was still a great price as B&M are charging £1.99 for one set. As you say they're already full, and I've run out of windowsills.

I got the Lidl ones too! iknow this is a silly question (but i'm a gardening newbie!) do you need to put holes in the bottom of the cell trays as they don't have any!
Thanks
