  • Progress so far

Throught id share a couple of pictures of progress so far, its my first year growing things or really working hard on the garden and im really pleased with how everything is going so far, I dont really know what im doing but I just read up lots and try

I have a fairly large garden but it on a steep slope so the only suitable space I have at the moment is infront on the green shed, its south facing and the sunniest part of the garden, I ran out of space for salad leafs so I thought id put them on the roof!

Ive eyed an expansion site behind the shed that also gets a fair amount of sun, I need to retain the bank with sleepers but I should be able to fit in another 20 large 30litre pots to grow stuff in, so that will double my growing area

Ive also pot lots of pots on the steps and bottom patio and ive got permission to replace the old brown shed with a greenhouse

Looks really attractive maverick. Well done
With your expansion site/bank behind the green shed, could you put a planting terrace in there - a "raised bed" that you could manage from the lower level. Put some boards in the front and level it off behind. Then plant into the soil rather than in pots.
I have a steep garden too and that's what I've done.

      Thats a good idea

I could shift the compost bin further up the garden to make more room

It does look a nice sunny garden so VC's planting terrace idea should work out well for you.
