Default parsnips and carrots

We have some of these and they seem to be growing well, only thing is, i have a feeling they are to close together, we didnt sow them then plant them out, we sowed them direct in to the troths.

What will happen if they are to close together, will they not produce friuts? smaller friuts, all grow in together?

Any advice welcomed

I reckon you need to thin them to just leave a plant at approx. the correct spacing.

if they are too thick/close togther they won't produce anything usable.

I've had to read this post three times. And I still don't get it.

Fruits? Off a parsnip?
