  • In the open or polytunnel?

    So I was wondering.....
My garden is just one giant patio, planning to to have a greenhouse, but everything is going to be grown in pots etc.
Is it better to have all the things that are outside, carrots broccoli lettuce leeks etc, just outside, or would they all do better in a polytunnel?

All those will be fine outside. Greenhouse for tomatoes, peppers aubergines and chilies.

Be careful what you put in a PT, some plants will soon take over, lots like the cold as well and a cold snap increases taste with some veggies.

I use mine (PT) for lugging thing in and out, so lots of pots.

Great for harding off young plants as it is not only the temperature that effects young plants, wind is a killer
I grow 70% for us and 30% for the snails, then the neighbours eats them

I would say that it would get too hot for brassicas and lettuce.
