What are you growing? In a greenhouse or out? Are you planning on planting the plants out soon or not for a whole?
Mould grows when it is too wet so you could reduce your watering and increase the ventilation.

Can I ask whether you are in the UK as this is not the best time of year to be starting seeds off, mainly due to the low light levels. Whatever you are growing there definitely shouldn't be any water left in the propagator once you have watered. Perhaps you could add your location to your profile. What is it you are germinating?

Dutch tomatoes! And the problem must be the water in the propogator I haven't emptied it so the pots are in the water all the time. If I empty the water and scrape the mould should this sove my problem? Or are they ruined? Thanks for your help

              Hi Mikus and welcome.
As Wendy has said, overwatering and not enough ventilation.
I have to say that this is not the time of year to be growing tomatoes in the UK!! Some of us chance our arm and sow seeds in January. Unless you can provide suitable artificial light, your plants will become leggy and not worth the effort.

I was worried you'd say that. Mould will be the least of your problems in due course. As VC said unless you have grow lights your tomatoes aren't going to thrive. What was the suggested sowing time on the packet? You might be better trying again in March.
