  • Moisture Meter Readings help please

I have purchased a Westminster Soil Moisture Meter.
The instruction booklet supplied only relates to flowers and there is little mention of vegetables apart from Rosemary.
The scale reads from 0 dry to 10 wet. I'm guessing 5 means moist.
Does anyone know of a source of information for vegetables to enable me to interpret the meter readings please.
Any help would be gratefully received.

I've never used a moisture meter & I wouldn't know where to begin, sorry.

I use my eyes to tell if something needs watering: basically if it's going limp As for things in containers, small seedlings etc, I pick up the pot: does it feel light or heavy for its size? If light, it needs water. how to water seedlings - YouTube

Totally agree with TS. At a practical level, soil should be moist but not wet. You don't need a meter to
        gauge that.
