Leaf mold full of eggs

I wouldn't, they are probably slugs or snails which will help to break down the leaves. When there is nothing left to eat they will move out.

Some spheres, look like slug eggs. But also so rugby ball shaped ones.

They won't do any harm in compost bags. I certainly wouldn't throw the leaves out.

My wife was puzzled when I came into the house and said "Im going to have to ask folk about this". Less than 20 mins later I get all these responses
