Lawn problem

Hi all!

I am wondering if anyone can help me?

I have just cut my grass and have noticed there is ivy growing amongst a small patch. Its especially odd as there is no ivy in the front garden for it to have come from.

Any suggestions on how to deal with it?

I'd get down on my knees and weed it out with a small fork, then if there is a bare patch left, reseed.
