    Hi everyone. I have loads of these come up in a container. I have no idea what they are can some one assist ?

      Poppies - probably Opium poppies -Papaver Somniferum. Lots of colours and self seed easily. Nice find

        It's a poppy, looks like papaver somniferum, the opium poppy - don't worry, you don't have to pull them up, they're legal
        Location - Leicestershire - Chisit-land

              Thank you ladies !!! I have about 12 of them all together... Def didnt buy them so goodness only knows where they came from... I will post a pic when they flower :-) thank you again

                    I let opium poppies self-seed on the lotty, but they refuse to grow at school, even though we've sprinkled packs & packs of seed up there. Weird

                      Yes, definitely poppies. My garden is full of them. They make a gazillion seeds each, so unless you want poppies next year, get them before the seed head ruptures.

                      Is there anything that isn't made better by half an hour pottering in the veg patch?

                            Definitely poppies. I end up with a few on my plot in the middle of my beetroot and onions.. Seeds came from allotment across from mine...pics attached. Dig them out and save seeds for pots at home..
