  • How promiscuous are peas?

I planted some Heritage peas (Ultra U) this year. The peas are delicious and I'd like to let some pods dry out on the plant to have peas to plant next year, and perhaps have enough for a seed swap. However, I'd be concerned that as a newbie I might manage to muck things up and not keep a pure strain. How far away should any other peas be?

    Thanks

Peas don't cross readily, they say save a few from as many GOOD plants as you can to keep the strain more viable rather than many from a few plants.....so fill yer boots!!!
