  • How do I become truly 'organic' next season?

Now, I realise this thread could really take off and run and run, but at the risk of getting pointed elsewhere I'll simply say that I'm still not all that sure how to develop my fruit and veg growing in a truly organic way. Having had a really happy opening season, I am now really keen to head off in this (organic) direction next year - even, as a next move, it's just in starting to modify my thinking before any advice (hopefully) starts to come in...

As a guide to my current mode of operation I only use organic fertilizer and slug pellets (oh heck; I forgot the Tomorite? Is that not kosher?) but apart from that I could use a lot of advice and help on really starting to develop a really 'fundamentalist' mentality, and I've already hung back on making too many plans for next year yet until I get these key directions sorted out...

Don't get too hung up on the theories. Make your own compost, nettle fertiliser, comfrey fertiliser. Encourage beneficial insects and pollinators by planting simple flowers, and don't buy chemicals.
