Default Horse manure question

Hi guys

We've been offered some horse manure for the garden... it needs rotting down, but that's OK..

I was wondering if I could dump it in one of the conical compost bins (we've got three empty ones)? Would it still rot down in one of those? :

Cheers!

Shelley

It's worked very well in mine Shelley, the only thing you could maybe ask is if the manure is from horses that have been wormed recently - if they have then you should decline the manure judging by what I have been told

You could put it in one of them Shelley, but you could pile it up in a nice neat heap & cover with carpet or an old Tarp & save the compost bins for Composting Veg waste.
