I know its late in the season but i have bought a beautiful chocolate habanero plant, can someone tell me will he survive if i bring him inside for the winter ?

I bought him yesterday, from homebase all my chillis that i tried to grow this year died (well death by dog feet)
He is about 40cms tall, lots of fruit and quite bushy, he looked soo sad in homebase as he was the only one left so i had to buy him, well thats what i told my husband
