 Hello New member here and just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I am very new to gardening and toying with the idea of getting an allotment (if there are any plots available at the lottie that is less than 5 mins walk away from my house!) but worried about not finding the time to put the required effort into it. I found this forum while googling for seed swaps and thought I would register after nosing around as it seemed such a friendly place that tolerates newbies. The first of many posts hopefully...      |

| Hi Pedro, welcome to the Vine. Not only do we tolerate newbies - we positively welcome them. We're a mixed bunch, but very friendly. Even though you may be new to gardening I'm absolutely sure you will be able to contribute. Sometimes I think the best posts are the ones that get us oldies thinking (maybe by asking what may seem to be simple questions). |

Everyone is welcoming and so willing to offer advice and explanantion even when you think the question your asking is somewhat dim. Keep posting and keep asking.
