  • Have i killed my blueberry plant???? HELP!!!!

Ok i have a blueberry plant doing well and i started getting little white flowers and the other night whilst i feed my tomato plants with baby bio tomato feed i gave my blueberry some water with the feed in and now the little white flowers have fallen off so my question is have i harmed the plant my feeding it tomato feed or is that natural and nothing to do with my actions? have i killed it or should i not worry? its a new plant only got or had 5 flowers but now there gone will i still get blueberrys?

Give it time Andrew, the flowers will drop off anyway after pollination & fingers crossed you may see the fruits which initailly are green then turn blue as they swell.

I find that the stamen is visible when the flower has dropped off, and has been pollinated - but then again I do bash into mine and knock loads of flowers off them all the time

I don't believe tomato feed (despite being high in potash - which you'd normally use for fruiting plants) has the right balance of nutrients for blueberries, I'm sure I read that somewhere...but I really doubt it will have done any harm with one dose anyway

Check this out Andrew - http://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gra...uide_6408.html I believe there's mention of feed in it.
