My celeriac has been growing for about about 5 months now and looking really healthy. the roots seems to be swollen even though most of it is below ground. The leaves are still green and showing no sign of dying off. How long should I leave them in the ground and when will i know when they are fit to harvest.?

I usually leave them until a bit later, and then only pull as I need them...sometimes into the following Spring if I have enough...I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....
