  • Green bell peppers.

For the 1st time I've opted for green bell peppers instead of chillies .

One plant, planted in the veg bed but unlike chillies which I've grown for 5 previous years, this is growing very slowly and is still only 4" tall.

Everything else around it has shot up with the sun except this. Being fed weekly with seaweed & the tomato food which my chillies loved.

Starting to get buds, yet at this size it won't be big enough to support the peppers.

    Any advice appreciated.

Whereabouts are you Gadgetman, and is the bell pepper planted in an outside bed or a greenhouse bed?

I find bell peppers really slow to get going, and they seem to prefer a greenhouse.

It seems a bit small to be planted outside already, but if the warm weather keeps up it will probably put on a growth spurt soon.

Could you add Northamptonshire to your profile please, then it will show on your posts and we won't have to keep asking you.
