  • frazzled looking butternut squashes

yesterday - had 3 healthy looking wee butternut squash plants in wee pots, today, the edges on the leaves of all 3 look 'skeletonised'(if that's a word?). the stems and leaves aren't droopy, they're not pot bound, I've been watering from the bottom and the soil at the bottom is damp and dry at the top......are they yearning to be planted out/ underwatered/overwatered/ what? I'm trying to keep them going another week to give 2 away - what do I need to do?

Mine have been out, planted on the lottie for a couple of weeks if you are still worried about the cold you could try potting them up the more root they have when you put them out the quicker they will take off.

They might just have run out of nutrition. Try either potting them on into bigger pots (best) or feeding them with a general purpose liquid feed.
