| I know that cucumbers need feeding, but I am receiving conflicting advice. so I thought I would come to the experts who grow them all the time. One is saying do not use Tomato feed which is high in Potash because it will give the fruit a bitter taste and slow growth, but use a feed with a high Nitrogen content, whilst others are telling me to use a Tomato feed. What does everyone else use. |

| If you know any farmers, ask them for a carrier bag full of nitrogen fertiliser (probably cost you a pint). That should last a couple of years. If not, there's a stuff sold in garden centres called Vitax which is high nitrogen.

| I feed mine on a variety of tomato feed and seedweed and they seem to be fine.
