    chin up, yellow strawberry!

Your brassicas are hardy beasts and don't want to be anywhere near a greenhouse at all. Take them outside, and let them drain and see if they recover.

If not, you can sow brocoli, cabbage, cauli and kale. It's a bit late for brussel sprouts, but if you really fancy them, the garden centres are selling young veg plants at the mo.

I reckon Hazel's right. You will cook brassicas in a greenhouse. They are tough old things and it's not too late to have another go.

the plants are already on the compost bin im afraid ,,,so when i sow more seeds in trays am i better off keeping them out side rather than growing them in the green house,,,or can i put seeds straight in the ground

I start mine off at this time of year in modules on some staging which is outside in a sheltered area of the garden. That way it doesn't get too hot but is protected from all the slugs etc that are present at ground level. They only get planted out when they're a reasonable size.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

            Either.
As said already, slugs may eat any that you sow direct, so sowing in modules is safer.
Don't put them in a greenhouse though ... they are (largely) winter veg and don't like the heat.

Well that answers my question I was going to start a new thread on!!

Have had 3 attempts at cauliflowers and all have died off after getting first set of leaves.

And yes....Ive done the very same thing.........trying to rear them in the greenhouse.

                Well thats that one solved.

Do they germinate ok in modules out side then or do I still need a warm windowsill to get them going?

Think Ive still got some seeds left so may have another attempt.

Cauli needs a minimum temp of 8C to germinate.
It is that at night now, so outside should be fine.
