Just wondering if its too early to sow dahlia seeds. I have sown them on and off over the years but just can't remember when.
Any help appreciated. They are just bedding seeds but give a great display of color nevertheless.

And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

Like most things, it depends on how you are going to look after them before they can go outside after your last frost. They grow pretty quickly! If you have the space you can start them now, otherwise it won't harm to wait another 2 or 3 weeks.

I've already sown mine first time this year. They sure do grow quickly, but as Martin said i do have plenty of space to store them. Can't wait to see them in the garden!
