Cucamelons in hanging baskets?

    Cucamelons in hanging baskets?

    Hi all,

    So I've got to the point I am running out of room rapidly... can I put cucamelons in a hanging basket so they trail down instead of up?

    Will they just end up a tangled mess? How far down will they grow?

    I grew some last year, the very quickly reached the top of the green house about 8 ft. You could just cut off any new growth that's too long. They are very thirsty plants, you might need to water twice a day.
