  • Chilli harvest and regrowth

I was unsure what to put as the title so I put chilli harvest as I harvested my chillis. they were all full size and red. But my question Is. Will my chilli plant produce more chilis as the year progresses. I have the beginnings of one at the top. will more appear or not?

Whereabouts are you Mr Mouldybread, and when did you harvest your chillies? Where have you kept your plant over the winter?

I am in scotland, Ayrshire to be precise. I harvested this morning. And I kept the plant at my patio doors, inside a small green house. I didnt want to risk it going outside over winter.

Im not really bothered if it does not fruit again. was more curious than anything.

Could you add your location to your profile please, then it will save us having to keep asking. If the plant is looking healthy there is no reason why it shouldn't keep growing and producing more chillies this year.

Will do. I forgot to do it before. Thanks for the info. I look forward to the prospect of more chillies.

It might do: some do, some don't. Give it a feed and see what happens

Haven't you had any problems with greenfly? They always smother my overwintered chillies

There's a thought I hadnt considered. I overwintered Cheyenne and Prarie Fire and they are just coming back into leaf after a heavy prune a few weeks ago. I noticed some early flowers. Best to take these off do you think?
                  Cheers
