Default Chick peas

Hi guys
I have grown chickpeas for the first time this year and wondered whether any of you knew when they had to be picked? They have podded up but still look very green inside?

Thanks

Mel

I knew I had read about them somewhere so at last I have found it. Eat the chick peas when they are green, just like peas. You can also use the early leaves as a cut and come again green.
