Hi got myself some bocking 14 comfrey which is now about 10cm in height would they be okay to plant out at my allotment in march? Or is it a safer bet to keep them in pots and plant out in april? Im situated in kent

Where have you been keeping it till now?
I noticed that my comfrey on the plot is starting to grow, so I think you would be safe enough planting it provided you harden it off gradually if it's been kept indoors. -
They are tough plants ... but having said that I grew mine on in pots, hardened off, and then planted out - but I think that was seriously Belt and Braces!K's Garden blog the story of the creation of our gardenComment
