    Bedknobs and Broomsticks...

Sorry was getting carried away then, it is late!

Can I grow Beetroots with Brassicas or will they do awful things to each other?
And if they are happy bed-fellows, will I be all messed up for next year when I have to move things around?

    YELP!

my beets will go in with my carrots, parsnip and fennel as they are all root crops.

They would prob be fine with brassicas but i like to rotate my beds!

And only count lifes sunny hours,

Beets don't have many pests, thus are a swap around crop and can pretty much go anywhere. They can also be moved with your brassica in rotation if you want to grow them together all the time.

They should be fine, but take care on the spacing - brassicas like firm roots, so you don't want to be loosening things up too much when you harvest the beetroot.

is there anything i definitely shouldn't grow with brassicas, or is it just a case of requiring different nutrients??
